Rafting: Take a raft trip on the Chilkat River through the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve with Eco Orca Tours.  This is a great way to see the magnificent Chilkat Valley as well as view eagles and other wildlife in their natural habitat.  These trips depart daily.  If you are staying with us we will provide a special discount and make all arrangements.

Art Galleries:  Haines is fortunate to have several world class artists living in the area.  Some of out favorite galleries are John & Sharon Svenson's gallery Extreme Dream's Gallery which is located just outside Haines near Chilkat State Park; Windspirit owned by our friend Judy Neel is located just across the street from the Haines Visitor Center; The Far North/Chilkat Valley Arts is located around the corner on 2nd Ave owned by artist Sue Foletti.
